I somehow missed this DDB (Toronto) campaign when it came out this past spring, but it still deserves attention and praise. The infinity symbol has been used so often in advertising that it’s just about a forbidden cliché, but the team in this case rescued it by adding the visual that represents human interruption. The lovely watercolour illustration is also fresh and unexpected. I do wish the client logo were smaller and simpler, and I imagine the team feels the same way. When you’re doing pro bono work, you should theoretically be able to call the shots on creative, but it doesn’t often work out that way, unfortunately. No matter. This work is still really good.
